Shelves? Fail! Cute yellow hat? Success!

In an attempt to save money, I completely ruined the construction of the shelves that are meant to be placed on my beautiful frame.  
I painted them, and they still looked terrible.  Looks like this means saving money (or waiting for my mother to be in town) before I can afford more lumber, and to finish the shelves. Extra, extra, sad face =(

But on the plus side, I crocheted an adorable yellow hat last night (pictures coming soon)! I absolutely love it, and it works splendidly with my favorite ivory scarf!

I organized my "tabs" in Safari because they were becoming ridiculously messy, and made all of these neat little categories to drag links into. It's wonderful and I don't know why I didn't do this sooner! 

I've decided that I need a sewing machine here at school with me, so that is my next investment... An Etsy shop is also in the works, first to promote crocheted items and hand sewn softies.  Look for me soon on Etsy!
