Holiday Placemat Throw pillow
Super easy holiday decor! (Now I just wish I had a cute couch to throw it on...)
Instructions on how to make it yourself after the jump!
This one is super easy, trust me!
I wish I could find the pillow online, it seems it is currently only available in stores and I can't find a picture of it anywhere! Anyways, Evan wanted this reindeer pillow from Target so bad, but I didn't think it was worth the $14.99 they were asking for it. Then he pointed out that there were matching place mats. A phrase I utter way too much began to pop into my head, "I could make that!" So we purchased the place mat for $3.99 (since in the store they are sold individually), and when we got back to Boston from Chicagoland, I stuffed it and made our very own reindeer pillow. I actually prefer the smaller reindeer on the placemat over the larger one used for the actual pillow.
Make one of your own! It's super easy!
Supplies:
1 Placemat (in this case, the reindeer one from Target)
Batting/pillow stuffing
Needle & thread
Seam ripper
Directions:
Rip open the seam on the bottom right corner of the placemat (or in a corner that does not conflict with the design)
Stuff the placemat to your liking
Sew the opening closed with a tiny and tight blanket stitch
All done! Makes a super easy and cute Christmas present too =)

Can you make me on too?? =)
oops! *one
You're so right! Target does seem to be the place to go for placemats, and a lot of other cute and inexpensive things, if you ask me. Yours turned out adorable! It looks like a professionally-made pillow!
